Open Water Risk Assessment for Secret Valley Lake*
--No swimming if there are private activities run by our outdoor instructors on the lake.
- The lake is natural and unsupervised.
Swimming is at your own risk.
- No swimmers under the age of 14 are permitted. Swimmers between the ages of 14 and 17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Non-swimmers are not recommended to enter the water.

**2. Potential Risks:**

- Uneven lake bed and hidden obstacles.
- Cold water temperatures.
- Changing weather conditions.
- Risk of drowning due to lack of lifeguards.
- Wildlife in and around the water.

**3. Safety Measures:**

- Ensure all guests are aware of the risks before swimming.
- Life jackets available outside the lake.

**4. Emergency Procedures:**

- Instruct guests to call for help immediately in case of an emergency.
